The quality of employees’, managers’ and organizational performance can be improved through the total quality management.
‘Total quality management is the integrated approach by management to focus on quality of all level of functions in organization with continuous improvement.’ It is very important because company can improve the quality of services effectively to their customers. There are several approaches to put TQM into the organization. The steps are listed below;

1 Develop the TQM tree
Company should develop the organization tree to do TQM effectively. For example, managers should involve in all level of work by employees. Managers should check quality of work performed by their employees and track how they do. 2 Find what customer needsThe customers’ needs should be defined and organization should do some action regarding it. The customers’ needs can be searched from surveys or sales analysis. Focusing on customers’ needs is the main issue in the TQM
3 Continuous ImprovementAfter customers’ needs are defined, organization should improve based on the results and it should not be one time performance. The researches and improvement should be continuously performed. Since there are lots of competitions in economy and changes in peoples’ trends, it is very important to the company to keep tracking their customer needs and improving the services.
4 Ongoing Process
TQM should be applied without any flaws. Management must check how well it is processed consistently. The Company can also develop a team to check its process. The errors must be detected and fixed properly.
5 Leadership
Management should have strong leadership to control their employees. In my opinion, leadership components should include managers’ working skills and behaviour. Managers must have enough experience and knowledge on their task then the employees will have respects toward mangers’ professionalism. Managers’ behaviour such as how they behave to the employees is very important. If managers are not nice or treat employees unequally, then their leadership will decline and the employees will not perform as what managers’ expected.
Total quality management aimed to enhance overall organizational performance. It also encourages staff to focus on their customers and to enhance the services. In my opinion, it is not guaranteed to be successful but there are more chances to be successful in the organization. Since it is aimed to fulfill the satisfaction of customers by focusing on customers, it will bring lots of benefits including good reputation into the organization.

BP3 XBRL
I think XBRL should be used in our organization. It will benefits as cost saving, time efficiency and accuracy. It has convenient business processing features that computer with XBRL data can automatically store, analyze and transfer to other computer in our organization. For example, if our sales department receive customer orders from on-line, delivery department can see these data in their computers without manual transferring process. It will result to our company to reduce the labour cost and times. It can also accept the data with variety language, so it will generate accuracy and flexible work in our company.
Our accounting department can update the financial information from other department very frequently and automatically with XBRL language. It can be also useful when we accept external financial information into our company. External users may use the other language or different accounting standard; however, XBRL will accept all data as XBRL format.
We need to contact local XBRL organization first to set up XBRL into our organization, and then look for availability of programmes. Theses programmes are designed to provide technical support, and they must be available in our local area in case of technical emergency. We then need to search for software tools availability to use XBRL. The list of tools can be founded in the XBRL website, or we can search for XBRL members’ recommendation.

PM2 Ethics in system design
In information systems, many organizations have a code of ethical conduct to prevent from the unethical conduct. Ethics is consisted with value concepts such as good or bad, right or wrong. When we consider which is good or bad on certain behaviour, we can simply choose one. Then
why do we need the ethical code in the organization?. It is because of complexity on human environment. All people have their own life style and ethical choices are not always clear. And also people can make mistake on the ethical decision making.
Is profession code of ethic enough to control the ethical behaviour? The Professional code of ethic is little bit week to prevent people’s unethical conduct within their own decision and it can be the reason we need to develop the ethics in the systems design.
What are the ethical issues to be considered when we develop ethic into system design? The privacy, accuracy, accessibility, and effects on quality of life can be issues. Information such as customer profile can be transfer from one to another. This conduct should be considered in the system design. The accuracy involves with system input, output and process. For example, if one department responsible for all the accounting systems, there are possibility that they can make frauds. There should be segregation of duties exist in the organization. Accessibility is also very important in the system design. If all the employees can access to company’s important data, they can steal those data easily. There should be limited accessibility to those who responsible to certain tasks within data. Quality of life in the organization involves with quality of computer system. Generally, computers are intended to improve our life and it also influence to the workplace. If computer systems are old and not upgrading properly, people in the workplace can have dissatisfaction of their working place. It can be cased to employee to have stress or reasons of productivity reduction. If people have no satisfaction on their work environment, their performances usually decline.

While SSADM method focuses on the technical issues more than human issues, CATWOE method focuses on the human issue. We can identify who is doing what for whom through the CATWOE; however, it can support ethical concerns strictly.
In my opinion, ethic is very hard to be narrowed and put them into the system design because of wideness human nature. If we consider such ethical issues of peoples’ privacy, accuracy, accessibility and our quality life, we can develop certain ethical policies into organizations’ system design. PM1 Do I want a career in Project Management?
I’ve never thought about becoming a project manager as career but it sounds like a really exciting career. I would like to participate on project as leader in the future. Project management is very important role in all industry and it is one of the most important processes in the company. I think we all have been involved in the project management at least once from school or working field, whether we recognize it or not. The project management practice is very important because we can develop leadership, planning skill, organizing skill, communication skill and many others. In my opinion, experience is the key issue to become a good project leader. The gains from project management practice will improve those skills gradually and I wish I can involve in a project team under highly experienced project manager to learn his or her professionalism. It will be very helpful to me to become professional leader in the future.
I researched some qualities what good project manager should have. The essential qualities for good project manager are strong leadership ability, excellent communication skill, good interpersonal skill, problem solving skill, time management skill and ability to develop people.
There are some interesting project management positions in IT posted in the job search site. They all seek person who can do initiating, planning, controlling and closing projects. Some places require the project management certification such as PMP. Most of company mentioned about school background as requirement and the education is really important to be placed in competitive candidate position. The degree related on IT was essential option to candidate. However, the experiences were the mandatory requirement for all the project manager positions and they requested minimum five years of experience. Even though some companies don’t mention about education, all of them put experience related to IT field as what candidate must have. In addition, some job posting mentioned requesting candidates’ personality information.
Project manager position will be ideal future career to people who like working with others, managing project from beginning to ending and having hands on involvement. It is also attractive to person like me who wish to improve these skills and become a certain project leader in the future.
