BP3 XBRL

I think XBRL should be used in our organization. It will benefits as cost saving, time efficiency and accuracy. It has convenient business processing features that computer with XBRL data can automatically store, analyze and transfer to other computer in our organization. For example, if our sales department receive customer orders from on-line, delivery department can see these data in their computers without manual transferring process. It will result to our company to reduce the labour cost and times. It can also accept the data with variety language, so it will generate accuracy and flexible work in our company.

Our accounting department can update the financial information from other department very frequently and automatically with XBRL language. It can be also useful when we accept external financial information into our company. External users may use the other language or different accounting standard; however, XBRL will accept all data as XBRL format.

We need to contact local XBRL organization first to set up XBRL into our organization, and then look for availability of programmes. Theses programmes are designed to provide technical support, and they must be available in our local area in case of technical emergency. We then need to search for software tools availability to use XBRL. The list of tools can be founded in the XBRL website, or we can search for XBRL members’ recommendation.

Taxonomies are the dictionaries used by XBRL, and its international standards are available through the internet. Accountant can go the official XBRL guidelines in the website and can find the approved taxonomies up to date.
